Musician Life

Alongside teaching, I maintain an active performance career. This allows me to bring current, real-world musical experience into my lessons. I help students learn not only technique, but also artistry, confidence, and stage presence.

I have written and performed my own music for a long long time! You can find me on Spotify Soundcloud, and Bandcamp. On Bandcamp you can buy my music, which really helps support my art. Just click on the box below!

My first experience with writing music was to write acoustic singer/songwriter music. After many years of performing live, I managed to collect the resources to compile a group of my most accomplished songs together in an album.

The acoustic album “Just because its not real doesn’t mean its not true” was written, performed and recorded by me in 2022, with pretty much just a microphone. It’s not the best recording, but it exists!

I have always had a very varied music taste, and more recently, I have also branched into electronic music. This is where my small home recording studio comes into play. Listening back to older versions of my music I see how much I have learnt and developed- practice and research really does work!

I currently make EDM. The album “Solar Flower” was released September 2023, and “Orion Felt” was released in 2025. Head to my artist pages to hear my work

Benefits of learning piano and singing from a teacher who also performs:

Real-world experience: You can learn techniques and skills I use.

Advice and knowledge: You get advice based on today’s music world.

Performance coaching: I can help with stage presence, confidence, and managing performance anxiety.

Musical expression: Performing keeps my own musicianship sharp, so I can teach you how to play with feeling, not just accuracy.

Credibility and inspiration: Students benefit from working with someone actively involved in the art they teach.

The Music Lab

All my music is recorded here in my Music Lab, and this is also where your lessons with me will take place. To see where my next performance is, click on Special Events.

Ways you can support what I do

I adore performing, and I really believe in what I do, but it is a labour of love. It takes a lot of time, effort and music equipment. If you are able to, it would be awesome if you can support what I do by buying me a coffee! (Or perhaps an iced matcha as I don’t like hot drinks!) 🙂

If you have any questions, or would be interested in having me perform at an event, use the contact form to get in touch.
