I had the privilege to be taught by Liz as an adult wo wanted to pick piano back. The lessons were pure enjoyment. Liz is a very dedicated pedagogue. She makes all the necessary preparations and has a good insight in the balance of what one wants and what one actually needs - something that me as a student appreciate a lot. She is organized, meticulous, friendly and very encouraging! She is very well-versed in techniques, music theory and all the tricks that can build a top-notch pianist. I admire her patience and I would deffinitively recommend to everyone who is willing to put in the work. Elizabeth has been teaching piano to my 8 year old son for 6 months. She immediately found the keys to make him feel confident and accompanying him as he learns. She's always attentive, positive and knows how to adapt her methods and the pieces to suit his motivation, level and musical affinities. I would highly recommend Elizabeth if you are looking for a professional musician to play at an event!!
I first saw her advertising for piano lessons and reached out to enquire about lessons for my boy. We started talking and I had a small event coming up and took the chance to ask if she would be interested to play piano/sing. She immediately said yes! This was for my husband's 50th birthday at our home. Elizabeth was really professional from the start and asked me what my husband's favorite band/music is so that she could specially learn and prepare some songs for the evening! It turned out so great and although we were not a big crowd, we had a fantastic time while she entertained us with great music!! She came prepared and also brought a wonderful ambiance to the whole evening. Her music style and singing is absolutely beautiful.

It was such a success that I booked her for my friends' wedding weeks after the event too! Elizabeth played durng the ceremony as well as during the mingle afterwards, and the guests loved every minute! Once again she prepared the bridal couple's favorite song for the ceremony, which was extremely special and showed her professionalism.
During the mingle she sang a variety of songs which were just perfect for the day.

My son has also started taking piano lessons with her, and although he will only have his first official lesson today, I can say that the trial lesson, her communicaton with us, preparation and dedication to her students are top class!

I highly recommend Elizabeth for your event, big or small, and I am happy to provide a personal reference if required.

Liz is a fabulous piano teacher. She has been teaching our children (7 and 5)  for a year now. Classes are very well planned, they are a combination of learning and fun with music. Our goal is that our children become interested in music and playing. The classes have been perfect: the children always look forward to them. Liz is very good to combine a bit challenging and more easy exercises so that the children do not get demotivated. She comes to out home which is very convenient.

Liz offers great, personalised classes, where the student can lead. This is not to say that the lessons are unstructured - quite the opposite! Music theory, scales and arpeggios are included in a way which doesn't overwhelm. Liz has really motivated my daughter, who is now really enjoying piano lessons and is making great progress and increasing in confidence.

When we asked Elizabeth to play at our wedding, my husband didn’t know what to expect. I did, since I already had seen her play before and I just wanted her to be a part of our day!
